Polish award-winning existential drama directed by Krzysztof Zanussi. The film follows a young physicist (Stanislaw Latallo), who, feeling disappointed with the lack of answers to how he should live, is searching for some meaning in life. Only through experiencing love and grief and acknowledging the finitude of his existence does he find the courage to live authentically.
